A proposal to build a four-storey, mixed-use building on West Fourth Avenue in Kitsilano, which would feature a London Drugs store as tenant on the first storey, is expected to go before the Urban Design Panel next month.

MCMP Architects has filed a development permit application for the project that's envisioned for a site at 2803 to 2865 West 4th Ave. It’s currently scheduled to appear before the UDP on April 3.

The application includes 67 residential units and 168 parking spaces. The London Drugs would be slightly smaller than a typical London Drugs. It would be similar in size to the one in Olympic Village and the new store that's under construction in Dunbar.

Under the site's C-2 zoning, the application for the Kistilano building is conditional, so it may be permitted, but requires a decision from the City of Vancouver's Director of Planning.
