Dr. Carole Taylor, British Columbia’s former finance minister and the current deputy chairman of the Trilateral Commission’s North American region, opens up about her career, leadership in politics and female leadership.

“I have a lot of concerns, and it surprises me,” she says. “I don’t see politicians listening to each other.”

Dr. Taylor offers advices for young men and women who are looking at the world and weighing a career in politics. She discusses how to persevere in the face of criticism.
