About

We all knew that at some point the white-hot real estate market would slow, even decline. The latest data suggests the Metro Vancouver housing market will be mired in difficulties this year and perhaps even next. But there are clear strategies to not only survive the slump but benefit from it. Our expert panel will guide you on where the opportunities are, where they aren’t, and how your investment plan can make the most of the challenging times.

Panellists

Cynthia Jagger

Principal, Goodman

As a powerhouse broker and former senior appraiser, Cynthia provides clients with the most valuable thing in the marketplace: knowledge. She knows multi-family investments and land. As an appraiser, she’s consulted and analyzed tens of billions of dollars’ worth of commercial real estate in B.C. and hundreds of rental apartment buildings. She’s underwritten and provided guidance on some of the biggest land deals in Vancouver’s history.

Her passion for real estate led her after university to start working on the residential marketing side of the business. What set her analysis apart was her ability to get the kind of information you can’t find on Google. With her smarts and integrity, she developed strong relationships. When she dialed, the industry’s biggest players would take her calls to hear her insights and offer their own. In all of Cynthia’s work, the through line is simple: provide expert advice and numbers that fuel informed decisions and profitable deals.
