Getting the family to Walt Disney World from Vancouver will be easier in 2016.
Calgary-based WestJet announced July 20 that it will be offering non-stop flights from Vancouver to Orlando starting January 2016.
The Vancouver Airport Authority confirmed with Business in Vancouver that this will be the airport’s first non-stop flight to the Florida city.
The flight will be a weekly red-eye, leaving Vancouver at 11:35 p.m. and arriving at 8 a.m., local time, in Orlando. The airline said the cost, one-way, will start around $260.
The airline has been boosting its list of destinations, announcing in June it would be offering flights to London next year.
