Hainan Airlines adds new service between Vancouver, Tianjin and Shenzhen, China

A new flight route has been announced that will connect Vancouver to Tianjin and Shenzhen in China. Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd. is scheduled to launch a new service that will run between Vancouver, Tianjin and Shenzhen.

A new flight route has been announced that will connect Vancouver to Tianjin and Shenzhen in China.

Hainan Airlines Holding Co., Ltd. is scheduled to launch a new service that will run between Vancouver, Tianjin and Shenzhen. The addition will be Hainan Airlines third flight between Canada and China, as well as the airlines 15th service to a destination in Canada or the U.S.

According to Vancouver Airport Authority president and CEO Craig Richmond, the new flights will make YVR the first Canadian airport to fly directly to Tianjin and Shenzhen.

The new route will be operated using an Airbus 330. The flight will depart from Vancouver at 11:30 a.m. and will arrive in Tianjin at 2:15 p.m. the next day. It will then continue to Shenzhen, arriving at 7:45 p.m.

2018 will mark the 10-year anniversary of Hainan Airlines’ first flight to a North American destination. In the last 12 years, Hainan airlines has added 12 services between cities in the U.S., including Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Seattle, San Jose, Chicago, Boston and New York, and major cities in China.

Hainan Airlines is headquartered in Haikou, Hainan and it is the fourth largest airline in terms of fleet size in the People’s Republic of China. The airline operates international services on 500 routes from Hainan and nine other locations in China’s mainland.
