On June 4, the New York Times published an article praising Richmond’s food scene, declaring it to have the best Asian food in North America. On the list of top dining destinations was Richmond’s Night Market and, according to Twitter, Seth Rogen agrees.

The Vancouver-born actor shared the Times article June 6, saying “I love the Richmond night market and have been going there for years. It’s my favorite food to eat.”

As could be expected, Rogen’s tweet ushered in a flurry of responses including some from Tourism Richmond, the Times, Destination BC and fellow night market enthusiasts.

The night market runs from May 11 to Oct. 8. Tickets are $4.25 per person, or $25 for six with a line-up bypass. Come to the market on your birthday for free admission when you show your ID.

For more information, visit the night market’s website.
