Hundreds of spring-revellers were in Richmond on Easter Monday to appreciate the magnificence of the annual cherry blossom bloom.
Steveston's Garry Point Park is home to a grove of 255 Akebono trees, making it one of the most popular local destinations.
While the month-long 2021 Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival has moved online this year, residents and visitors alike are flocking to blossom-lined streets and parks where the trees provide their veritable explosion of quintessential seasonal colours.
Visitors to the festival website are encouraged to submit pictures and participate in a virtual mosaic photo collage that comes to life in real-time as images are submitted.
Nothing says spring like a whole lot of pink!
