Who or what is responsible for your work ethic?

It primarily revolves around the importance of the companies we advise and invest in — this is important work for people and the planet and we don’t want to let them down.

What is your guilty pleasure?

Binge watching a streaming series with a bowl of ramen (‘Succession,’ ‘Yellowstone’ and ‘Peaky Blinders’ of late).

What is the best book you would recommend?

Be Here Now by Ram Dass.

Now that you are (or are close to) entering your forties, what goals have you set for yourself?

Think bigger. Affect more lives. Do it faster. Start a foundation and a retreat centre along the way.

What was your childhood career dream?

Marine biologist.

Name your happiest place.

At home on Bowen with my partner Taryn.

What was your toughest business or professional decision?

Working as an entrepreneur since 2013.

What advice would you give your 20-year-old self?

The path to get to where you want is far more convoluted (and interesting) than you think. Trust the journey, trust the company, trust your guidance.

What is your best habit?

I can be doggedly persistent and can see connections between things that others often miss.

Tell us one improbable fact about yourself.

“I Am That, I Am.”

Best piece of advice ever received?

Being gifted the view of money/capital as concentrated energy with its own consciousness.

Biggest learning (about life or business) during the pandemic?

Everything is flexible and the world is (figuratively) flat.

What career highlight are you most proud of?

Acting as lead financial advisor to Verses Technologies Inc., the creator of the spatial web (think metaverse).
