Later on, Ken Beattie, executive director of the BC Craft Brewers Guild, will discuss a new initiative his association is launching with Destination BC: the B.C. Ale Trail. The goal is to ignite beer tourism in B.C. Beattie will also talk about the upstart beer canning industry and whether craft beer connoisseurs are moving past their disdain for canned beer as opposed to bottled.

Finally, Brenda Grunau, manager of the BC Music Fund, called in to talk about the launch of the organization's sound recording pilot program, and to reflect on what these types of grants mean for the industry.
