Today on the show, Ian Tostenson, president and CEO of the B.C. Restaurant and Foodservices Association will be talking how about the challenges restaurants face keeping up with rent in Vancouver. Then, Chad Leaman, director of development for the Neil Squire Society will be on the show. Leaman discusses how the non-profit recently received an $800,000 investment from Google.org to development smartphone technology for those who cannot use a touchscreen. The LipSync is a mouthpiece that people without use of their hands/fingers can use to operate a smartphone. Later, Jeff Guthrie, chief sales officer at Moneris discusses how Vancouver restaurants are seeing a 15% sales bump because the Olympics are being held in a similar time zone.
