Chief Judy Wilson (0:43), secretary-treasurer of the Union of B.C. Indian Chiefs, discusses a new report that looks at how far British Columbia has come in implementing the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), and where it needs to go. She also looks at UNDRIP’s economic impact, and how implementing the agreement could clarify the processes around major economic and business decisions.
