On BIV Today…
What their preliminary trade deal means for the U.S., Japan – and Canada. Carlo Dade (1:00), director of the Canada West Foundation’s trade and investment centre, calls the deal a blow to Canada. He also calls it a warning – that the U.S. could encroach on other areas of opportunity for Canadian companies in Japan, and in other CPTPP countries.

Dr. Scott Harrison (14:03), program manager of engaging Asia, discusses the first guidebook of its kind – one designed to help Indigenous businesses leverage Asia Pacific trade opportunities.
