Founded in 2000, the awards program recognizes exceptional corporate and community leadership by female business leaders across the province. The following five honourees join a list of now 145 women who have won this award over the past 26 years.

In alphabetical order by last name, the recipients are:

  • Natali Altshuler, COO, EA Sports Studios
  • Gopi Chande, CFO, Telus Digital
  • Kristy James, president and CEO, Burnaby Hospital Foundation
  • Ingrid Jarrett, president and CEO, BC Hotel Association
  • Kristine Simpson, partner, assurance services, BDO Canada

This year’s honourees will be recognized at an awards luncheon on Friday, March 7 in Vancouver, at an event sponsored by Fasken and Scotiabank Women Initiative, and hosted in partnership with CPABC, TD and Western Community College.

Several past IWIB Award winners served on the judging committee that selected the 2025 recipients, including: Radha Curpen, Kate Furber, Leah Nguyen and Cathy Thorpe.

“On behalf of BIV, I’d like to thank our five 2025 Influential Women in Business Award recipients for their contributions to our shared communities,” said BIV editor-in-chief Hayley Woodin Hastings. “Their stories and achievements are inspiring. We are fortunate to have such exceptional, community-minded leaders in our province.”
