Fraser Health Authority has shut down a warehouse and distribution facility in Delta, following a confirmed COVID-19 out break at the facility.
One employee tested positive for COVID-19 on September 20, the health authority says in a news release. Since then, testing has confirmed 23 positive cases among employees at the Valhalla Distribution/MSJ Distribution facility at 7848 Hoskins Street in Delta.
"To date, 23 employees of the facility have tested positive for COVID-19," Fraser Health said in a brief news release.
"Fraser Health is screening employees at the facility, and case and contact management is ongoing. Those identified as cases and close contacts have been instructed to self-isolate."
