Thinking about a career change? If you are taking in the PNE over the next two weeks, you can drop by a new mobile jobs and career information booth.
The B.C. government's BC Jobs Start Here program will have a mobile jobs information exhibit near Pacific Coliseum set up until September 3. It is a precursor to a series of 24 jobs fairs that are scheduled to be held throughout B.C. from September 18 through November 30.
The exhibit will have career information, and information on employment services, job banks and other local career events through WorkBC.
Anyone looking for a job or thinking about changing careers can find out information about what kinds of skills and trades are needed, where in B.C. the jobs are, what kind of credentials are needed and how to get them.
