Hotel chain owner the Executive Group plans to transform a YVR airport hotel into a home for the elderly, the company announced today.
The Executive Group has finalized a joint venture with the Townline Group to convert the Executive Inn Express at the Vancouver Airport into a 71-unit care facility for seniors.
Construction has begun on the project and the development will open in late 2013.
The Executive Group plans to focus on seniors' residences in the future as part of its ongoing business strategy. The company previously developed a 190-unit housing complex for people aged 55 and older in Marysville, Washington.
