Popular Japanese clothing retailer UNIQLO announced this week it is opening a store in Richmond Centre this spring.
The new location will be on the mall’s first floor, featuring a total sales floor of 8,010 square feet.
Currently, there is only one UNIQLO store in Metro Vancouver, located in Metrotown. Another location is opening at Surrey’s Guildford Town Centre March 9.
“We opened our first store in the Greater Vancouver Area last fall and we received a great demand from customers for more stores,” said Yasuhiro Hayashi, chief operating officer of UNIQLO Canada. “This newest expansion demonstrates our commitment to bring LifeWear to more Canadians on the West Coast.”
UNIQLO is recognized for innovative functional apparel.
Besides Metrotown, there are currently two other locations in Canada, both in Toronto.
