BC Export Awards finalists unveiled, event registration opened

The Canadian Manufacturers and Exports BC Division has announced its shortlist of finalists for the BC Export Awards in mid-November.

The winners in nine export categories and British Columbia's Exporter of the Year will be named from the following list of finalists.

In the Advancing Technology and Innovation category, the finalists are:

• Alpha Technologies;

• Delta-Q Technologies; and

• Elastic Path Software.

In the Consumer Products category:

• Graph Tech Guitar Labs;

• Nii Northern International; and

• Prepac Manufacturing.

Finalists in the Digital Media and Entertainment category are:

• Idea Rebel;

• QuickMobile; and

• Vancouver Film Studios.

Finalists in the Manufactured Products category are:

• RIMEX Supply;

• STEMCELL Technologies; and

• WhiteWater West Industries.

In the category of Natural Resources, the finalists are:

• Paper Excellence;

• SPF Precut Lumber; and

• Vitalus Nutrition Inc.

New exporters selected to be finalists in the 2013 BC Export Awards are:

• dPoint Technologies;

• Partners in Motion / Harmony Entertainment; and

• Saltworks Technologies.

Finalists for the Premier's Award for Job Creation are:

• Corvus Energy;

• Creation Technologies; and

• Pinnacle Renewable Energy.

In the Professional and Services category, the finalists are:

• Coulson Aircrane;

• Global Relay; and

• Hatfield Consultants.

And the Sustainability Award finalists are:

• Endurance Wind Power;

• Greenlight Innovation; and

• Klohn Crippen Berger.
