Six B.C. cities will gain Greyhound Express service later this month, Greyhound Canada announced this morning.

The Burlington, Ontario-based company announced that Vancouver, Kamloops, Kelowna, Whistler, Coquitlam and Abbotsford will all gain Greyhound Express service starting March 21. The company bills its express service as “the company’s premium direct service between major cities.”

The company’s new B.C. routes will be:

  • Vancouver-Coquitlam-Abbotsford-Kamloops (three round trips daily);
  • Vancouver-Coquitlam-Abbotsford-Kelowna (three round trips daily); and
  • Vancouver-Whistler (two round trips daily).

Stuart Kendrick, senior vice-president for Greyhound Canada, said the company is “thrilled” to expand further into B.C.

“Thanks to the demand for this type of service, Greyhound Express has become the largest premium bus transportation network in North America in just two years, and we thank our customers for their loyalty,” he said.
