$42 million deal creates large North American uranium entity

Bayswater Uranium Corp. (TSX-V:BAY) has completed its $42 million acquisition of Kilgore Minerals Ltd. The deal, announced originally in mid-March, creates a uranium company with large holdings of uranium properties in Canada and the United States.

The deal, announced originally in mid-March, creates a uranium company with large holdings of uranium properties in Canada and the United States.

The combined company will have uranium assets in Labrador, Saskatchewan, Northwest Territories, Newfoundland Wyoming, Montana, California and Nevada.

The all-stock deal involved Kilgore shareholders exchanging each Kilgore share for a Bayswater share.

Following the merger, Bayswater said it was looking for additional acquisition targets. It also plans to register with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to become a reporting issuer in the U.S.
