The top Forty under 40 entrepreneurs, as selected by Business in Vancouver’s panel of judges, celebrated their achievements last night.
They were joined by more than 400 friends, family members and co-workers, as well as previous Forty under 40 winners, at the annual awards celebration that filled the ballroom at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel.
Gloria Macarenko, CBC news anchor, served as MC for the evening.
Winners were selected by judges Cheryl Carter, vice-president of BIV Media Group; Baila Lazarus, BIV features editor; BIV reporter Glen Korstrom; and previous Forty under 40 winners Sandra Miles, CEO of Miles Employment Group; and Andrew Latchford, COO of Cactus Club Restaurants Ltd.
The Forty under 40 awards recognize young entrepreneurs who have achieved business success while making a significant contribution to their local or business community.
This year’s sponsors were Fasken Martineau, CGA, Audi, MacKay LLP, EO Vancouver and Colliers International.
