Pommashea Noel-Bentley has joined the BC Institute of Technology as vice-president of alumni development and CEO of the BCIT Foundation. She was previously vice-president of resource development with United Way of the Lower Mainland.

Benalcazar was previously general manager for several subsidiaries of Holderbank Cement Group, a director of HolcimCementos Caribe SA and CemetosBoyaca SA and country manager for several Ecometals Ltd. subsidiaries. As well, he was previously president and board member of the Ecuadorian Chamber of Mines.
Julio Espaillat has been appointed president and CEO of GoldQuest Mining Corp. He was previously president and general manager of Corporacion Minera Dominicana and vice-president of exploration at Goldstar Mining Corp.
William Wagener, Vance Thornsberry and Terri Anne Welyki have been appointed president and CEO; vice-president of exploration; and vice-president of corporate development, respectively, of Calico Resources Corp. Wagener, formerly the company’s COO, replaces Allan Williams, who will remain on the board. Wagener was previously COO, CFO and business manager of Northland Resources. Thornsberry was previously vice-president of exploration at Northland Resources and is on the board of Timberline Resources Corp.
John McBride has been appointed to the board of Serengeti Resources Inc. He is a co-founder and senior partner of Raven Hill Partners Inc. He previously helped found and was managing director of CC Capital Partners Group and was a financial consultant with Merrill Lynch Canada Inc.
