The Keg's quarterly sales grow 10%

Vancouver-based Keg Restaurants Ltd., the operating company of the Keg Royalties Income Fund (TSX:KEG.UN), reported a 10.2% increase in sales for its first quarter of 2007. Sales rose for the period ending April 1, 2007, to $106.

Vancouver-based Keg Restaurants Ltd., the operating company of the Keg Royalties Income Fund (TSX:KEG.UN), reported a 10.2% increase in sales for its first quarter of 2007.

Sales rose for the period ending April 1, 2007, to $106.9 million compared with $97 million in the same period in 2006.

Same store sales growth increased by 8.1% in Canada and by 3.8% for the Keg's restaurants operating in the U.S.

The Keg operates 27 out of 95 Keg restaurants in Canada and the United States. The remainder are independently owned and operated by franchisees.
