For professional women in traditionally male-dominated fields, celebrating their professional achievements is crucial for their continued advancement in their fields.
Recognizing the outstanding work of exceptional women in the finance industry, the Association of Women in Finance (AWF)’s PEAK Awards honours women who have demonstrated excellence in their work.
The 27th annual PEAK Awards gala, to be held on May 7, 2025 in downtown Vancouver, promises to be an evening filled with celebration, inspiration and empowerment. Event attendees will have the chance to learn about the achievements of remarkable women in finance and hear their stories of perseverance and success. The gala will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions and networking opportunities, providing an avenue for attendees to gain valuable insights and connect with industry leaders.
By highlighting these remarkable individuals who have made significant contributions to the financial industry, AWF aims to elevate inspiring role models for aspiring women in finance, as well as provide women with a platform to share their career experiences.
The awards also serve as the primary fundraiser for AWF's scholarship program, which supports the next generation of female finance professionals through financial assistance.
Call for nominations for the 2025 PEAK Awards
Are you interested in encouraging more women to pursue careers in finance? Do you know any outstanding individuals who are influencing females in the finance industry?
The Association of Women in Finance invites the community to consider the people in their professional networks who could be nominated for one of the five PEAK award categories for 2025. Each category represents a specific area of expertise within the finance industry, including Excellence in Industry, Rising Star, Champion, Significant Board Contribution and Lifetime Achievement.
Nominees will be evaluated based on their professional achievements, community involvement and commitment to advancing the role of women in finance. Both women and men are also invited to apply as champions, and all nominees must work and reside in British Columbia.
The deadline for applications is January 5, 2025. Nominations may be submitted via the AWF website.
