Born in New Westminster and raised in the Lower Mainland, Schalke earned his law degree from Dalhousie University after completing his undergraduate studies at UBC. Called to the bar in 2007, Schalke’s expertise has been widely recognized by leading legal directories and accolades including multiple Best Lawyers in Canada nominations and inclusion in the Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory.
Beyond his professional achievements, Schalkel is dedicated to giving back to the community through pro bono work, including contributions to Ronald McDonald House B.C. & Yukon. Outside of the office, he enjoys camping, 4x4-ing, skiing, playing soccer, hiking and spending time with his family.
