Vancouver-Little Mountain Electoral District
  • Current MLA: None (riding to be contested for the first time in 2024)
  • Candidates:
    • BC NDP: Christine Boyle
    • BC United: None nominated yet
    • BC Greens: None nominated yet
    • BC Conservatives: John Coupar
    • Freedom Party of BC: Naomi Chocyk
  • Description:
    • A newly created riding carved out of portions of Kensington, Fairview, Langara, and False Creek, Vancouver-Little Mountain is shaping up to be a high-profile clash of titans.
    • While the redistributed riding would have yielded a comfortable victory for the BC NDP in 2020, the candidacies of John Coupar, former NPA Park Board Commissioner for the Conservatives and Christine Boyle, current OneCity Councillor, make this a race to watch.
    • The NDP is strong in the Riley Park and Mount Pleasant portions of the riding, while the chunk of Oakridge is firmly small-c conservative. Finally, South Cambie’s condos are home to business and finance professionals that could be open to less government.
  • Election 2020 Results (with 2024 boundaries):
    • BC NDP – 51%
    • BC Liberals – 33%
    • BC Greens – 15%
    • Other – 1%
